IN MEMORIAM

I AM ALIVE is a suite of songs about friendship, loss, and recovery. With settings of poems by American female poets (Emily Dickinson, Anne Sexton, Elizabeth Bishop) and original narrational text by Peter Spafford, I AM ALIVE is an affirmation of hope in the face of grief.

It was started before Peter’s friend, the lyricist Stephen Clark, died and was first performed in honour of him.
